Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year! We look forward to seeing our students grow in the coming year both academically and socially. We are proud to announce that Buna Junior High will be a RECOGNIZED campus this year!  Way to go, students and staff!  

Our first day of school is Monday, August 23 at 8:00 am.  We hope that you will join us for 6th Grade Orientation on August 20 at 6:30 in the cafeteria.  Our program will consist of procedures, campus goals, and also a demonstration of the Parent Portal and Lunch Money Now programs.  7th and 8th grade Orientation will take place September 2 at 6:30 in the cafeteria. Homeroom teachers for 7th and 8th grade students will be posted on the cafeteria window at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 20.  Students will report to homeroom class at 8:00 am on the first day of school to receive schedule cards.   Please contact our office if you have any questions or concerns.  Together we are "Schooling" for Success at BJHS!

We are proud to announce that parents are now able to check their student's grades and attendance from the web.  The website is https://gradebook.bunaisd.net/txconnect/.   Confidential information on your student's access codes will be sent home with the first six weeks report card to those unable to attend the training sessions.  Grades are updated every Tuesday.
